This bright, crisp and refreshing wine is sourced from premium vineyards at Watervale in the Clare Valley. With reverence for the ancestral home of Riesling, we call it "The Rhinelander".

Winemaking

We have always said that Riesling is made in the vineyard and Watervale is one of the best places in the world to grow delicious Riesling. So, once the fruit was harvested and in the winery, this wine was gently handled with minimal intervention. The juice is reductively handled with fermentation at 12–14ºC to preserving the freshness and vitality that is the hallmark of Watervale Riesling.

The Wine

Pale straw in colour, this wine opens with intense lemon and lime fruit on the nose with hints of citrus blossom, green apple and sherbet. The palate is ripe and full flavoured, with passionfruit, papaya and zesty grapefruit flavours supported by fine acidity and crisp texture which keeps the wine fresh and with a long and persistent finish.

Drink now, serve chilled
