Winemaking
Bringing a new wine into the Atlas range is always a moment of excitement in the cellar. Each variety was picked and fermented separately using cool fermentation and gentle working of the cap then basket pressed and matured for 14 months in French oak. The three varieties were then blended to create a wine characterised by the Atlas house style.

The Wine
Bright purple/garnet colour. Lifted black cherry, mulberry and plum aromas with some complexing cedary oak and hints of earth and black pepper. The palate is medium weight with ripe and concentrated plum and currant flavours supported by underlying hints of leather and baking spices. Tannins are soft and balanced, giving the wine richness and a fine, persistent finish.
Drink now to 2032
“Complex and richly expressed...it's wonderfully weighted, finishing superbly long and harmonious. At it's best: now to 2034",
